Translation that
professionals
can stand behind.

Every project goes to a translator whose professional background matches the content. Legal work to lawyers-turned-translators. Medical documentation to people with clinical training. Not to whoever is available.

About nicetranslation

The translator has to know the subject. Not just the language.

nicetranslation was founded in Houston in 2017 by a team that had spent years watching translation agencies send the wrong professional to the job. A contract needs a translator with legal training. A clinical trial protocol needs someone from a pharmaceutical background. A visa application needs a translator who understands immigration documentation. Matching by language pair alone produces predictably mediocre results.

Today we work with immigration law firms across Texas, pharmaceutical research companies in the Houston Medical Center, SaaS companies expanding into Latin America, and federal courts requiring certified interpreters. Most clients come by referral. Most come back.

How it works

Four steps from brief to delivery

Transparent process, confirmed timeline, fixed price. You know exactly what is happening at every stage.

01
Get a Quote
Send your documents or describe your project. We review within one business hour and send a fixed price with a confirmed delivery date. No estimates, no range quotes -- one number.
02
Specialist Assignment
Every project is matched to a translator whose professional background fits the content. Legal work goes to translators who have worked in law. Clinical work goes to those with healthcare training. This is non-negotiable.
03
Translation and Review
Your project goes through our full TEP workflow: Translation, Editing, and Proofreading by two separate professionals. We use CAT tools to maintain terminological consistency throughout every document.
04
Delivery
Files arrive in your inbox in the agreed format, on the agreed date. Each delivery includes a terminology reference sheet. You have seven days to raise any concerns before the project is formally closed.
What clients say

Trusted by Houston businesses and beyond

Our H-1B petition had seven foreign documents that all needed certified translations. nicetranslation delivered every one within two days with zero issues from the USCIS officer. We have been sending every petition their way since.

We contracted nicetranslation for 62,000 words of clinical trial documentation across three languages for an FDA IND application. They delivered 10% under the projected cost and three days ahead of the deadline. The FDA had no translation-related queries.

We launched our SaaS platform in Mexico and Colombia last quarter. nicetranslation handled the full localization -- app strings, marketing site, onboarding emails. Our Mexican signup rate in the first month beat our projections by 31 percent.

The remote interpretation for our deposition in Harris County was smooth. The interpreter knew the legal terminology and was sharp throughout a three-hour session. Our client understood every question clearly.

Common questions

Quick answers

Yes. Our certified translations include a signed translator declaration of accuracy and competence, the translator's full contact information, and a certification date -- exactly what 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) requires. We have a strong track record of acceptance by USCIS, EOIR immigration courts, and consulates. If you have a specific authority requirement, tell us at the time of order.
All translations are delivered digitally by email as PDF and editable file attachments, or via secure download link for larger projects. We do not mail physical documents for standard orders. If a court or authority specifically requires a physical original with a notary ink seal, we can coordinate that as an add-on service.
Yes, always. Every translator at nicetranslation translates into their native language only. A Spanish-to-English translation is produced by a native English speaker. We do not allow translation into a non-native language regardless of the deadline or premium offered.
Our standard 48-hour rush add-on covers most document types. For same-day requirements, call us directly at (713) 849-3482 before placing an order. We will tell you honestly whether we can meet the timeline. We do not accept orders we cannot fulfill on time.
