Answers to the questions we hear most often. If your question is not here, call us at (713) 849-3482 or use the contact form.
Yes. Our certified translations include a signed translator declaration of accuracy and competence, the translator's full contact information, and a certification date -- exactly what 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) requires. We have a strong track record of acceptance by USCIS, EOIR immigration courts, and consulates. If you have a specific authority requirement, tell us at the time of order.
All translations are delivered digitally by email as PDF and editable file attachments, or via secure download link for larger projects. We do not mail physical documents for standard orders. If a court or authority specifically requires a physical original with a notary ink seal, we can coordinate that as an add-on service.
Yes, always. Every translator at nicetranslation translates into their native language only. A Spanish-to-English translation is produced by a native English speaker. We do not allow translation into a non-native language regardless of the deadline or premium offered.
Our standard 48-hour rush add-on covers most document types. For same-day requirements, call us directly at (713) 849-3482 before placing an order. We will tell you honestly whether we can meet the timeline. We do not accept orders we cannot fulfill on time.
If our translation contains verifiable errors, we re-translate the affected sections at no charge within seven days of delivery. For major quality failures affecting more than 20% of the document, we offer full re-translation or a full refund at your choice. See our Refund Policy page for the complete terms including cancellation fees by stage of completion.
We work across more than 50 language pairs. Our most active combinations are English with Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Polish, and Tagalog. Call us for less common pairs -- we will tell you if we can cover it before you commit.
Yes. Every translator assigned to your project signs a project-specific NDA before receiving any files. At the company level, we are happy to sign a client NDA before any discussion begins. Contact us before placing your order and we will have it signed before you send a single document.
Document and medical translation is priced per 1,000 source words. Legal and immigration translation is priced per document, reflecting the specialist certification component.
