Our commitment to quality and what happens if we fall short.
nicetranslation stands behind the quality of every translation we deliver. This policy sets out your entitlements if a project does not meet the standard we commit to.
If your translation contains verifiable translation errors (not style preferences), report them within 7 days of delivery. We will correct the affected sections at no additional charge within 2 business days of confirmation of the error.
If more than 20% of the delivered translation contains verifiable errors, you may choose between: (a) a complete re-translation at no charge, or (b) a full refund. You must report major quality failures within 7 days of delivery and provide a specific error list.
If you cancel before the assigned translator has begun work (typically within 2 hours of order confirmation), you receive a full refund. After work has begun, cancellation fees apply: 0-25% complete: 25% of total. 25-75% complete: 50% of total. Over 75% complete: no refund, but delivery will be completed.
Refunds are not issued for: change of mind after work has begun, style preferences that differ from but do not contradict the source, content that you later decided you did not need, or projects where revision requests were submitted after the 7-day window.
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method via Stripe within 5-10 business days of approval. Processing time may vary by card issuer.
