A purchase agreement has terms that carry specific legal meaning in the jurisdiction where it will be enforced. A deposition transcript must be rendered with absolute fidelity -- every hesitation, correction, and ambiguity in the source has legal implications. A court filing must meet the exact language standards expected by the reviewing judge.
Our legal translators include former attorneys, paralegals, legal researchers, and professionals who have worked within legal departments at major firms or corporations. Confidentiality
Every translator assigned to a legal project signs a project-specific NDA before receiving any files. Files are transferred and stored only over encrypted connections. Access is limited to the assigned translator, the editor, and the project manager.
If your firm or organization requires a company-level NDA before any project discussion, we are happy to review and sign one. Contact us before sending any files and we will execute the agreement before any documents change hands.
Pricing
Legal translations are priced per document for certified and notarized work, reflecting the fixed professional component of the certification process. For large document sets (discovery productions, data room translations), per-word pricing is available. We provide a fixed quote before any payment is taken. For ongoing client relationships, we offer volume discount arrangements.
